On Penarth Esplanade - and at Penarth Town Council's HQ - flags are being flown at half-mast this morning to mark the passing of Britain's longest-lived monarch.
Fittingly, at Penarth Yacht Club, the Red Ensign - the emblem of the Merchant Navy- is being flown at half-mast on the jack staff.
