Cardiff, Wales: A striking memorial to the men lost in the Merchant Navy from Cardiff, Penarth and Barry in both Great Wars and other conflicts around the world. About 36,750 seamen and women from Britain were lost due to enemy action, many of whom have no grave. One of the wreaths is on behalf of the Royal British Legion.
