PRAYER
Guard us Lord, the storm descending,
With thy love ‘tis never ending.
Amid the lightning thunder roars,
Guide our ship to distant shores.
See us Lord as wandering sheep,
Grant us rest in peaceful sleep.
Keep your hand upon our helm,
And steer us safely through thy realm.
Lord bring us home to those who wait,
Who pray to you to know our fate.
Keep them safe those men like me,
Who toil each day upon thy seas.
And when our voyage comes to end,
To you our Lord our thanks we send.
Thy sea is great, our ship is small,
We know you hear us when we call.
