Years ago we started in about March, I did the order of service, invitations and on. Much today will be what the Council, Clergy, branch and RBL have in mind but we need to liaise with all.
This year MN Day is on the Saturday, but, may not suit the Council, getting a Mayor etc also if say Swansea and Newport etc are doing things on the Saturday may not assist in visitors. I am looking up print times for all media and deadlines and need an update. What state is the monument in other years was a big thing to push the Vale for a clean up.
Have we a standard bearer ? Peeps like HMS, Cambria, Scouts and Cadets ? Really just some food for thought for now.
Not certain if the Vale Council do a reception now but, would before invite us in after.
Any kind of Order of Service, I guess is sorted by the clergy.
We did years ago invite the Commander RAF St. Athan. Spoke about before.

Again, not up to date with contacts but, RAFA Barry always invited and turned up,
Dealt more with RBL Paris very MN orientated for years but, went to school with Roy, Theresa stood down and think a few changes.
Always involved, ABP, DOW Corning and fund raising Marco from Barry Island and more.
